FOXSports.com - Sox fans celebrate title

FOXSports.com - PHOTOS: Sox fans celebrate title

I am happy for the red sox, I always root for the underdog so I was cheering right along with all the red sox fans when the World Series ended last night. Funny how they won it during the only lunar eclipse to ever take place during a World Series. Makes me wonder what kind of event will happen before the Indians win it all ;-).

I plan on making my research trip on Monday. I e-mailed a friend of mine ( Stephanie, you can visit her most excellent site by clicking on her name.) to compliment her on her new Tinker's Creek page and to ask if she'd like to go to lunch since she works downtown. She said sure and to give her a call so that's what I'll be doing. Once I get that violin issue taken care of, I can get back to work on TFB so I'm looking forward to it :-).

PJ's Halloween party from Preschool sounded like it was a lot of fun. He came home with a goody bag, three art projects (a kitty, a spider, a halloween door hanger) and a big smile on his his face. I aksed him if he'd like to give one his projects to grandma when we go over there for Halloween and he said, "Yeah, the kitty cat." So I'm certain my mom will adore his cute little kitty. I was a bit worried when I drove to him to and from preschool because the President was going to in town right in the same city where his pre-school is so I was afraid they were going to shut down the road where he goes to school. Luckily, they didn't and I was able to drive him to and from with no problems :-).

Okay I know those were a little late but they are up now :-). Fun questions :-).

I just made Cookie's for PJ's Preschool Halloween party. The whole house smells yummy now. Still have to package them in the little treat bags I got but now I'm waiting for them to cool down.

Got this in my e-mail today. A pic of the whole Ozak family at Jenny's wedding in the sping. From Left to right is me (the gal with the while shirt and black pants. Now you know what I look like :-)!) next is my hubby holding PJ, Next to Phillip is my sis-in-law "the new bride" Jen (Didn't she make a pretty bride? She's a sweet big sis :-)!), next to Jen is my brother-in-law, Frank (notice the family resemblance :-), and standing in front of Frank is his daughter, the adorable Savannah, next to Frank & Savannah is my step mother-in-law, Mary Anne, and next to Mary Anne is my father-in-law, Phil Sr (yep there are 3 Phil's in the family!). The wedding was so much fun & I'm glad that we were able to go.

In the writing world, I started an informal challenge on Sylvia's message board about National Novel writing month. So far we've had a lot of interested people which is great because I can use all the encouragement I can get to keep rolling on The Fireland's Bride. That's what I love the most about being a writer, the encouragement you get from other authors is excellent. Anyway I gotta run and package up those cookies. I'm sure they are cool by now. Take care everyone!
