Short Story is comming along nicley :-)

current mood=

Still haven't gotten anything back on my last chapter of TLD so I figured I'd work on the short story for a bit. It's comming along nicely. I'm up to eight pages and I think I have an idea on how to keep it short. I think most of the realtionship between my hero and heroine can take place over the course of one night, while she's trying to save him from the rattlesnake bite, they can share intimate stories about each other's lives. I think that when Jake sees how much Rosario's been through it'll be easy for him to fall in love with her. And vice versa. I'm up to eight pages already but I still think I can keep it short. Well I'm off to get ready to go into Penneys. Hopefully I'll have a little sample to post of Mojave Rose on my website soon ;-)

Sending PJ to preschool

current mood=
Filled out the application & will get it in the mail today. I hope we can get in because if he goes, I'll have at least a few hours to write during the day or maybe even excercise (god knows I need to :-)) a bit.

Writing wise, still waiting for someone to take a look at the last chapter. Then I'll go back & blitz through all three of the final chapters. & Then next it's off to my read through :-). I can hardly believe I'm almost done. It doesn't seem like that long ago when I had the idea for my story and now it's almost complete & ready to go out. I know I have something special here. I knew it from the first time I plotted it out. I just hope I can find an editor who agrees with me :-)

Found some neat mood icons

Current mood=

Almost moved my web blog to bravenet today until I found some neat mood icons
here. Now all is right with my blogger again :-).

Cornelia gave me two more excellent critiques so I owe her again. I know I can always count on her, even if the group in general is quiet. Looks like I'll be ready for a final read-through sometime in July. Right on schedule :-).

Looks like I won't make the deadline, drats...

current mood=

Doesn't look like I can do the Dorchester contest. I had everything ready to go but wasn't sure how I was going to print it up. Our laser printer jams up every once in awhile & until Phillip gets the part we need to fix it, I'm hesitant about using it for large printing jobs. Oh well. In other news while searching the net I learned about a company which publishes e-books & trade paperbacks called Mundania Press. The interseting thing about this company is that they are based out of Cincinnatti :-). I'm taking that as a good omen & will look into submitting to them when I'm ready to roll :-)
