One more chapter down... Only 5 More & the eplilogue to go

Yippee :-). My work in progress is moving along quite nicely. I'm debating about keeping the epliogue or cutting it. I do like it though. It would be a nice way to go into the sequel "Saving Grace". We'll see how it goes. I'm feeling better today then I was yesterday. My insides were a little bit messed up & I ended up calling off from Penneys. PJ was a little cranky last night and I was afraid he had whatever I had but I don't think he does. He seems to be in much better spirits & he has a healthy apetite, unlike me yesterday. Well, I'm gonna make lunch, do dishes & then maybe head out to pick some things up. Bye for now.

I'm terza rima, and I talk and smile. Where others lock their rhymes and thoughts away I let mine out, and chatter all the while. I'm rarely on my own - a wasted day Is any day that's spent without a friend, With nothing much to do or hear or say. Yeah I guess that fits me ;-).
Anyway, Anne from my crit group set me two crits becak yeasterday & she brought up a good point. She told me not to pull my punches when it comes to the really emotional scenes. So, I Dana Ann Ozak vow not to pull my punches when it comes to my writing & write it all out in my 1st draft :-)! I adore Anne. She always tells it like it when she crtis me but is never mean or nitt-picky about my work. I started working on revising chapter 16 a little bit until PJ wanted me to come snuggle on the couch with him. How could I refuse my little boy :-). I'm hoping I can finsh it off & chapter 17 by the end of the week. Boy, my little Historical Romance sure is moving along isn't it? If I can add a like 16 more pages to it, that will bring it to 90,000 words & I can submitt it to Harlequin and maybe even Dorchester. I guess I'll just keep moving along.

Still waiting on my crits before I go back & revise Chapters 15 & 16 so I've been goofing around the net. found a cool site & tried my pen name out on it.

Winter is back in Cleveland,OH...

Sigh, so much for plans of maybe taking the rapid transit downtown & hitting the library for my research this week. Oh well. We'll see what the weather does next week.
I'm hoping I can get at least a little bit of research done on The Firelands Bride before we leave for California at the end of April. My sister-in-law is getting married on May 1st & we're flying into Las Vegas & driving to Thousand Oaks where she lives with her fiance. We got the invite in the mail today & it sounds like a lot of fun. It'll be at a Lion's Club pavilion in Carpenteria (I think that's how it's spelled.) and very laid back. According to the invitation, there will be volley ball & horshoes there too. I know we'll all have a blast.

Another thing I've gotta do as soon as possible is print up my contest submission. My hubby said he wants to order the part we need for our laser printer but hasn't gotten around to doing it yet. It's only 20 pages so standing beside it and pulling each one out shouldn't be too bad. I'll ask him about it this week. The deadline is April 1st but the sooner I get that one out, the better I'll feel about it :-)!
