First Draft of TFB should be done by tomorrow.

I just have to figure out a way to kill off my villian. Got some excellent ideas for the great gals in my crit group. Yippee!! Hallejuah!! Now I can take a break before I start to edit the darn thing :-).

Hubby didn't have any luck looking for cars today. He wants an SUV or truck w/ extended cab for work and the one he was looking at online and called about, the dealership went & sold it that morning. Then they tried to sell him a Ford Explorer that was 9,000 instead of the 3,000 one he was looking at. Told them no thanks. He went and did a drive-by of other dealerships but for some reason they all closed at 6:00 pm on Friday. I'm begining to think that this is a sign that we weren't meant to go car shopping now but I do understand why he wants to get rid of my kia. Better to get rid of it now while it's trade-in value is still 1,000 than to risk something happening with my car again and making the market value lower. Plus, he does need something bigger for work now. Looks like I'll have to work a couple of days (at least) at Penney's until we'll get the get car he's looking for paid off. But at least the store will be back to normal hours by then & I won't be too tired to write when I get home. Once I sign a contract though for my full-lengths, I don't even care who I sign it with, I'm saying "buh-bye" to Penney's and doing what I truly love. Retail has never been my passion, it's just been a way to pay the bills but writing is and will be my passion until the day I die.

Christmas wise, I got the last of the Christmas Cards mailed today so all I have to do is make more of my famous fudge filled cookie bars to pass out for gifts and wrap the hubby's presents. I'll let him wrap the rest. I'm lousy when it comes to wrapping gifts.

Called my high school friend, Beckie today because I haven't heard from her in awhile but she wasn't home. Talked to her mom, though, who told me that Becca got a new job and is going to school now. Good for you, Becca :-). Her mom said she's really happy and I'm happy for her. I'll be dropping of PJ over my mom's house on Tuesday because Phillip & I have a Christmas Party to go to from his work. I want to drop in and drop off some of my cookie bars for her because I know those are her favorite. Hopefully she won't be too busy to spend a little time with an old friend :-).

Questions For Dec. 14th
Naughty Or Nice: What Should Santa Bring You? (part 2)

1. Eggnog With /or/ Without the Booze?: depends on my mood
2. Wine & Cheese /or/ Whips & Chains?: Definately the whips LOL :-)
3. Girtles /or/ G-Strings?: G-Strings
4. Tom Cruise /or/ Jude Law?: Oh my gosh, so Jude Law. The guy is such a hottie
5. A New Brain /or/ A New Body?: Body, please :-)My brain's fine but the body needs work.

My car died yesterday so the title is somewhat sarcastic :-P. Turns out it was just the breaks. It's costing us $350 to get it fixed. Needless to say, we've had enough with the kia so we're going car shopping this weekend. Once again, something happened to throw a wrench in the $ situation but I'm sure we'll get by like we always do :-)
