Two more pages in :-)

Current mood=

Still haven't found an answer to the violin issue but I have some people looking into it for me :-), and if I can't find out a price, I got some excellent estimates and if I can't find an answer, I'll just start at my estimate and have Lach barter back and forth. In the end price really won't matter since he's buying it from a widow with nine children and he'll win his way be agreeing to fish the widow's youngest daughter's doll out of the river :-). Anyway, I did get two more pages in so I'm happy with that.

Got a weird post in my cybergarden's guestbook about my virtual haunted home. Someone by the stupid name of "Hello Kitty" posted that it wasn't scary or funny and should have more games. Hello, I have a ton of games in my haunted game room!! Plus if you don't think it's scary or funny, give me some input on how I can change it. It ticked me off so much that I deleted the post. I know I shouldn't let one negative post get to me after I've had so many nice compliments on my haunted home but people like that irritate me to no end. If you don't like it, that's fine but at least give me one little compliment on something or tell me what I can do to make it better! It's the least you could do after all my hard work!! Okay, rant over :-), I feel better now ;-).

ccquestions &TFB progress

ccquestions: "Questions For September 28th
The 'Girls'...

1. Bra's: Underwire or Softcup?: Soft cup, underwire pokes too much
2. Do you wish your 'girls' were bigger?: I sometimes do but the hubby seems happy with my size :-)
3. Have you ever used cleavage to get your way?: you betcha :-)
4. How many Victoria's Secret bra's do you own?: none, I can't afford them
5. Would you get implants if they were free?: It depends. I'm very nervous when it comes to any kind of plastic surgery! I would have to talk it over with the DH first to see if it would be worth it.

Okay, that was fun :-). I managed to eek out a whole one page tonight. Hey, one page is better then nothing. I'm still stuck on the violin issue. Anyone know what the cost of a violin was back in 1811 or where I could find the answer?

Three more pages in

Current mood=

Here's what I meant to do today. I meant to do my grocery shopping this morning and write in the afternoon. However, my plans changed when I realized I left my purse in my DH's car (which is at work with him right now) and had no $ to go shopping. Oh well, I can do that either tonight or tomorrow while PJ's at pre-school. Silly me.

I guess it worked out though because I put my fingers to work and completed that dinner scene. Three more pages are done, Yippee!

Oh and big hugs and congrats go to my dear friend, Jesse who just signed a contract with Avon. Jesse and I met awhile back when she still had her Passionate Pen yahoo group. She's been writing for long time and if there's one person who deserves a contract it's her. Her book, Her Husband's bed, will be comming out sometime in 2005/2006. Can't wait to read it :-). Her story gives me hope that someday my stories will find a good home too.

Still waiting on the contracts from Gina for my short story. She did say was busy and I have faith that she'll get them back to me soon :-). Well I'm off to celebrate the three pages I did by playing some games and then I'll make lunch for me and the little guy :-).

One healthy little bear

Here's a pic of PJ and his best friend Teal on our from CA to AZ :-). We took Teal with us to the Zoo today because it was teddy bear day at the zoo. They were giving free teddy bear checkups in honor of the new animal hospital that just opened up. Teal got a clean bill of health and got to see his realtives. PJ got a sucker which he shared a little with Teal, a sticker, well make that two one for PJ one for the bear :-), and we bought him a huge balloon on the way out. It was such a cute idea and we all had fun. Teal included ;-).

When I got home from Penney's tonight, DH said PJ saved the last cookie in the jar for me. Is it any wonder why I love that little boy? Such a sweetie.

On the writing front, I've been procrasting a little. Haven't done much since Thursday. But I will make it for starting tomorrow. I have a scene in mind where Lach attempts to eat the fish his dear wife burned for him :-). Cooking is a trial and error type thing, as I've learned, so my heroine is bound to make a few mistakes along the way.
