Last Chapter uploaded :-)

Well this is it. My final chapter is now in the capable hands of my critique group. As soon as I get my feedback, do a final read-through, and some minor polishing, it's done :-). I'm also working on my entry for the Dorchester New Voice Contest. The deadline is the 15th & I'm fairly confident that I can get it ready to go. This my favorite manuscript to date so I'm hoping it'll get published. Wish me luck ;-).

I wasn't a finalist in that Fool For Love Contest but my scores were pretty decent & the judges did give me some helpful comments. One was a little bit harsher than the other but both gave me some good feedback. I took their suggestions and did some more work on the first chapter. Next week, I'm going to work on revisions for my final three chapters & post them to my critique group. Cornelia said that Awe-Struck is open to submissions again & she said I can use her for a recomendation if I submit to them. I think I'll have it all ready to go by July and then I can send The Locktender's Daughter off. My next plan is to work on Mojave Rose and then on The Fireland's Bride. I'm pretty confident that The Locktender's Daughter will find a good home some place. I'd be happy if it did get published with a tradtional publisher or an e-publisher.
